Hospitals, waiting rooms, recovering from surgery can have moments of being one, big, yawn-making bore. You might not be well enough or have the energy to do what you used to enjoy. Creativity and an open mind (and the ability to download 92 seasons of the West Wing on the ipad) are all perfectly viable options. So is telling jokes (what do you call a chicken with a lettuce leaf in front of its’ face? Chicken ‘sees a’ salad. No? Tough audience!
